Meet at the Boat Ramp Pier and check in before 8:15 AM for the 8:45 AM start (look for the "Yacht Master" sign), or take the shared transfer, with pickup between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. Late arrivals are treated as no-shows.
Maya Bay First
About an hour by speedboat, then 50 minutes of free time at Maya Bay: the boat enters Loh Samah Bay and you walk across to the beach. Swimming at Maya Bay is not allowed.
Phi Phi Leh and Lunch

Where the boats go
Maya Bay is on Phi Phi Leh, south-east of Phuket, in Hat Noppharat Thara - Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. The boats do not pull up on its beach: for the bay’s reopening in 2022 the national parks department had them moor at a floating jetty in Loh Samah Bay, behind it (DNP, December 2021), and One Asia Corporation’s day enters Loh Samah Bay and walks you across the sand.
The day trips leave from several piers: the Boat Ramp Pier, AA Marina, Roong Siam Pier, the Sea Angel Cruise Pier on Koh Siray, Royal Phuket Marina and Phuket Boat Lagoon all appear on the tours on this site. So the US$42.51 on the card is the cheapest option on one date. On the January and March dates the same option cost US$56.68, and the options with the park fee in them cost the same on all three dates.
Every option includes the speedboat, a guide, the buffet lunch, water and juice, fruit, a mask and snorkel, and seasickness pills on request. Towels and tips are not included. The park fee is 400 baht for a foreign adult (the national parks department’s schedule of June 2023, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand) and 200 baht for a child (the Tourism Authority of Thailand), checked November 2026; on the options without it you pay it in cash on the day. Since October 2025 the Phi Phi park has used electronic tickets, and the tourism authority asks visitors to have their passport ready.
Earlier starts, more meals, the fee included
Sea Angel Cruises' speedboat includes the park fee in both its options and gives 30 minutes at Maya Bay and an hour each at Pileh Lagoon and Khai Islands; on 20 January 2027 it cost US$59.67 a person from its pier on Koh Siray and US$71.60 with hotel pickup. QUEEN OF ANDAMAN PHUKET's day serves three meals and ends on Khai Islands, from US$42.93 (checked November 2026); on 20 January 2027 its cheapest option, meeting at AA Marina without the fee, cost US$47.70.
V. Marine Tour's sunrise day starts at 4:30 AM, has breakfast on Khai Nai at sunrise and reaches Maya Bay after it, with the park fee included. Simba Sea Trips' small-group day on Viator takes about 15 guests, at most 18, and serves breakfast on the beach at Maya Bay, from US$162.41 a person, its one option (checked November 2026). V. Marine Tour's day trip, also on Viator, gives an hour of free time at Maya Bay, from US$85.64 a person for the shared-transfer option (checked November 2026).

One Asia Corporation’s day has 22,079 reviews on GetYourGuide. We read the 350 most recent, dated 17 October to 8 November 2026: 16 give three stars or fewer, and 8 of those have a comment. The theme is numbers: a November 2026 reviewer called it mass market, with hundreds of people in orange life jackets at the swimming stops, and another said every boat stops at the same places at the same time. Single reviews mention a cold lunch buffet (October 2026) and a warning to watch your valuables on the transfer bus (October 2026). Several of the same reviews praise the guide.
Before you book
- Age and health. One Asia Corporation’s day is not for children under 3, people over 60, pregnant women, wheelchair users, or people with back, heart or breathing problems or high blood pressure.
- Flights. The boat is back at the pier around 5:00 PM and it can be 5:30 to 6:00 PM; the day is not recommended with a flight the same day.
- Cash for the park fee on the options without it: 400 baht for each adult.
- No swimming at Maya Bay. Thailand’s Department of National Parks forbids it and warns of fines up to 100,000 baht (DNP news, 4 August 2026). You swim off Phi Phi Leh and at Bamboo Island instead.
- The closure. The Department of National Parks announces the closure each year; the 2026 closure ran 1 August to 30 September, and Maya Bay reopened on 1 October 2026 (Tourism Authority of Thailand).

No. Thailand's Department of National Parks forbids swimming at Maya Bay, a home and nursery of blacktip reef sharks, with fines of up to 100,000 baht for deliberate breaches (DNP news, 4 August 2026). The day trips swim at Pileh Lagoon, off Phi Phi Leh, at Khai or at Bamboo Island instead.
Maya Bay reopened on 1 October 2026; it was closed from 1 August to 30 September 2026 (Tourism Authority of Thailand, 20 October 2026; Department of National Parks, 14 September 2026).
